DIEBOLD SELECTS VENTUS NETWORKS FOR CELLULAR TRANSPORT NETWORK
ATMs go mobile with Ventus Networks cellular transport solutions
NORWALK, CT, Dec. 19, 2003 – Ventus Financial Services and Diebold, Inc. have partnered to enable financial services firms to benefit from a complete solution that integrates Ventus Networks' Cellular Transport And Routing Service with Diebold ATM terminal systems.
Ventus Networks' Cellular Transport and Routing Service operates over a private Cellular (800 MHz) and PCS (1900 MHz) infrastructure. Ventus Networks utilizes its own manufactured VFN cellular series routers enabling these frequencies to operate utilizing GPRS over GSM or 1xRTT over CDMA2000 technologies.
