ATMs go mobile with Ventus Networks' cellular transport solutions
NORWALK, CT, Nov. 24, 2003 - Ventus Networks, a leading global telecommunications provider, unveiled their nationwide wireless technology which will replace CDPD. Ventus Networks and Diebold teamed up to utilize this technology on a Diebold Opteva 550 ATM terminal. This wireless service platform is designed to increase the availability of wireless solutions at nearly any geographic location with the capability of operating on any ATM/POS device regardless of the operating systems.
