NETWORKS PROVIDE WIRELESS ATM SERVICES FOR
RYDER CUP MATCH
NORTH CANTON, OH September 16, 2004 -
Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: 'DBD'), a

provide four automated teller machines
(ATM's) and related ATM services for
thousands of spectators at the 35th
Ryder Cup Matches at Oakland Hills
Country Club in Bloomfield Township,
Mich., Sept. 14-19, 2004.
Diebold, which coordinated a
self-delivery solution to the celebrated
tournament, will provide turnkey ATM
services using Ventus Networks' wireless
code-division multiple access (CDMA)
technology. Other services include
cash handling and ATM replenishment by
BrinksŪ, Incorporated, the world's
oldest and largest security
transportation company.
Diebold's robust ATM transaction
processing software supports multiple
connectivity options, screen
customization and branding, along with
advanced ATM functions, such as audio,
color touch-screens, MPEG full-motion
video and coupon distribution.
Packaged with Diebold Transaction
Services is Diebold Advisor, an ATM
monitoring, notification and dispatch
service that ensures maximum ATM
availability.
