VENTUS NETWORKS SIGNS NYFIX FOR WAN SERVICES CONTRACT
Mission-critical transactions routing entrusted to provider of tailored infrastructure solutions
NORWALK, CT, Feb. 5, 2004 - Ventus Networks today announced that it has been selected by NYFIX, Wall Street's "Central Electronic Meeting Place for the Financial Community,"
to provide wide area network transport services. NYFIX delivers electronic trading technologies to institutional clients so that they can achieve superior operational
efficiencies through every stage of their trading cycles.
The NYFIX Network provides unsurpassed electronic connectivity between brokerage firms,
asset management companies, exchange floors, global exchanges and ECNs/ATSs, enabling the transmission
of orders, executions, indications of interest, and trade advertisements.
Through this multi-year contract, Ventus Networks will provide a number of value-added services to NYFIX's
network management team, including cost effective provisioning, fulfillment and implementation of circuits
as well as trouble remediation in support of particular segments of NYFIX's wide area network transport
infrastructure.
